I joined the circle as a student shortly after the 1995 Samhain ritual that Oldenwilde held here in Asheville.I had been looking for a wiccan group to join for a number of years, and had friends who were witches, but they all lived too far away for me to be able to circle with them on a regular basis. I met Passion and *Diuvei at the ritual, and went to their house afterwards; and within a few weeks had joined. It's been a wonderful time, and I've come to love all of the members of Coven Oldenwilde and the students, even those who've left us. I've also learned a lot, and I have a lot more still to learn.
I enjoy working with my hands, and so enjoy working with herbs and making amulets, jewelry, and magical tools. I also particularly enjoy ecstatic dancing and music, and hope to one day learn to drum.
I would encourage anyone who is interested in witchcraft, but hesitating because of how other people might react, to go for it. I did, and I've never regretted it.
