Kamau Bell around the country in a <a href=\"http:\/\/cnnpressroom.blogs.cnn.com\/2015\/05\/13\/cnn-announces-two-new-original-series\/\" title=\"CNN press update on May 13, 2015\" target=\"_blank\">thought-provoking, serious and humorous look at diverse cultures<\/a>&#8221; from Alaskan Inuit to Asheville Witches.<\/p>\n<p>A CNN producer who saw news coverage of our Samhain 2012 <a href=\"http:\/\/oldenwilde.org\/oldenwilde\/samhain\/rite2012\/samhain-2012-handfasting-marriage-equality.html\" title=\"Samhain 2012: Love is the Law\">pro-marriage-equality Mass Public Handfasting<\/a> emailed us &mdash; and within five days a camera crew from L.A. was in front of the downtown Vance obelisk filming Lady Passion &#038; *Diuvei and other Asheville subculture celebs encountering host Kamau Bell.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-caption alignleft center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oldenwilde.org\/oldenwilde\/pix2\/blogpix\/cnn-united-shades-of-america\/Kamau_Bell_talking_with_Lady_Passion.jpg\" alt=\"Host Kamau Bell talking with Lady Passion.\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Host Kamau Bell talking with Lady Passion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The next night (April Fool&#8217;s Day 2015), our Covenstead was wired and lit and served as the set in which a CNN crew, producers, and director filmed us, Witch friends, and Kamau leaping a cauldron fire, and performing a traditional Mill Dance and traditional Cakes &amp; Wine ceremony.
