Spiral in the Stone
The
first stop on our Summer 2006 booksigning tour of England was the
5,000-year-old Avebury stone circle, where we snapped this interplay between sun and stone.
The
spiral and holes in the center of the stone were made by
insects and palm-tree roots when the rock formed millenia ago. Apparently, the
prehistoric Pagans who built this sacred site purposefully
dressed this stone to showcase the sigil Nature bigraved upon it.

their sojourn amongst the Witches of England, so check back frequently
