Since our saving Asheville’s downtown magnolia tree from a developer’s chainsaw had been a Coven project all year, we designated a tree in the center of the circling field to be our ritual dance focus. | ||

To fashion each of our four altars we used four milk crates under a plywood rectangle, and adorned it with drapes and accoutrements (recycled from previous years’ Samhain decor) corresponding to that Quarter. | ||
