Who: For teen and adult Pagans/Wiccans.
What: Revel with others of like mind on Witches’ New Year; imbibe, circle, and enjoy Craft camaraderie!
Theme: Broom & Brew. Dress in Witch finery. Decorate your broom or staff on site (components provided), then use them in an easy, powerful Witch broom ‘n’ staff dance during a traditional Rite for the Departed Soul. Help turn the Wheel of the Year from autumn to winter.
When: Wednesday October 31st, 7pm until.
Where: Coven Oldenwilde’s Covenstead at 113 Clinton Avenue in (West) Asheville, North Carolina.
BRING: A broom (women), staff or tallish stick (men). (Or the opposite, if that’s your preference.)
Optional: $25. per signed copy to procure our new books Rituals & Sabbats: Sacred Rites and Seasonal Celebrations and Candle Magic: Working with Wax, Wick & Flame.

Can I bring my child or pet?
No please.
Should I bring something for the celebratory feast?
Yes please.
The Covenstead will provide finger-food, but ingredients are needed for the alcohol-based Brew: moonshine, lime slices, & lime juice.
You can also bring ale (craft brews preferred!) or wine, or ginger ale for the alt. non-alcoholic Brew.
Can I volunteer to help prepare or perform the Rite?

Can I film the Broom Dance?
Yes please, if you’ll share the video with us afterwards (and online if you wish).
