Participants were admitted around 8 pm, and traveled on a journey by "the river Styx" (the ancient French Broad River) in decorated rope "boats" led by silent volunteer "psychopomps", or death guides, to a circling site lit by blue quarter torches and snapsticks.

We chanted, danced, and sang in traditional, magical Witch style. After a quarter dismissal graced by a pair of shooting stars, diviners and fortunetellers gave free readings to long lines of querents at the pavilion. Everyone had a powerful, spiritual time!
