Since 2015, tenured professor of religious studies Dan Mathewson of Christian-affiliated Wofford College in South Carolina has driven vans of students to participate actively in Coven Oldenwilde Witch rites. In 2026, 13 women attended and took goodly videos showing their courage in make-a-wish cauldron fire-leaping — all receiving a velvet choker with a silver pentagram as reward. Their curiosity and trust are empowering! (Masks worn to prevent airborne diseases contraction — not to obscure their identities.
